Ocean Immigration began its activities in 2020. We were in the midst of taking over the family business and were bringing in our foreign workers for the company ourselves. Over time, several other entrepreneurs in the sector have approached us to help them in their efforts. It was at this time that an immigration lawyer joined our team to better advise them. Later in 2020, our immigration consultant was added to our family and little by little more and more clients trusted our company to serve theirs. In 2022, Fernando, our recruitment director in Mexico, joined our forces, which allowed us to develop more specialized recruitment in the field of mechanics and welding. We started our collaboration with Fernando's family business working in the distribution of machinery in Mexico in order to test the skills of our workers ourselves and ensure the quality of our candidates. We are still growing and continue to add strings to our bow!

Our vision

At Ocean Immigration we want to offer reliable workers to all Canadian companies suffering from a lack of manpower. We want to protect the future of our Canadian companies while keeping them competitive nationally and internationally. By fighting a labor shortage here at home and across Canada we are fighting poverty and promoting the long-term social and personal growth of these workers.

Meet the team!

Recruitment and support

Fernando Avila

Fernando is originally from Mexico, he completed his studies at the American University in Finance.   He is fluent in 3 languages: English, French and Spanish. He holds the position of recruiter within Ocean so it is with him that each worker passes his final interview and obtains all his documentation to travel to Canada.
